Rajneesh Agrawal is Director, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), Noida which comprises of 10 states. He has contributed immensely in repositioning of STPI with focus on Innovation and dispersal of IT/ESDM industry beyond metros in the northern part of India. Along with the statutory responsibilities with regard to STP and EHTP schemes, he is profoundly contributing for growth of High Speed Data Communication services, incubation services and new projects like computerization of STPI, Electropreneur Park, etc.

Rajneesh Agrawal has been actively involved in formulation of policies and measures by the government in the IT and ESDM sector. He has immense experience of more than 27 years in working in various sectors including academic, media and ESDM and information technology. He has unique distinction of working very closely with government, academia and IT /ESDM industry. He has been instrumental in formulating a number of ESDM policies like Preferential Market Access (PMA), National Policy on Electronics, Electronics Manufacturing Clusters, Electronics Development Fund, etc.

He is working for the formulation of Incubation programme for IT/ESDM sector to promote entrepreneurship, innovation and product creation in the country. Rajneesh Agrawal is the one who has initiated setting up of an Electropreneur Park for promotion of start ups in ESDM sector in association with Delhi University and IESA.

Prior to joining of Software Technology Parks of India, he served Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY) for about 21 years in various capacities. He earned wide experience in formulation and implementation of various important ICT applications across various domains. He is 1987 batch Indian Engineering Services officer and worked in Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. He has also two years of teaching experience in MNNIT, Allahabad in the beginning of his career.

Rajneesh Agrawal has been educated in University of Allahabad from where he earned his B. Tech. and M. Tech. degrees in Electronics. He has also authored numerous books and study material in data communications and computer networking area and published a number of articles and papers in different journals.

Dr. Sanjeev Singh had worked in the area of optical electronics and obtained his Doctorate in Electronics in 1997 from University of Delhi. For the last fifteen years, apart from teaching post-graduate course of M.Sc. in Informatics, he is working in the area of networks, security and communication technologies. He had published over 50 research publications in international/national journals and conferences. He has been a visiting fellow to University of Manchester in Science and Technology (UMIST), UK under Commonwealth Fellowship.

He spearheaded an innovative project “Cross Cultural Innovation Network” sponsored by European Commission. He has completed several major research projects sponsored by various government agencies of India. He is on the advisory panel of various learned bodies. He is a member of National IT committee, FICCI. He has been principal coordinator for UK India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI-I) project. He had conducted various traing programs and workshops for faculty development of different Universities and Institution across the country.

Dr. Singh is Network Fellow of Commonwealth Partnership in Technology Management (CPTM), London, UK. He is member of the Innovation cluster and Science & Technology Parks (STPs) forum, Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Korea. He is also Fellow of EU-India Cross Cultural Innovation Network. He is a certified professional for development of Science and Technology Parks and Innovation Clusters.

Dr. Singh has conceptualized and implemented first e-learning framework for University of Delhi, where he is in-charge for ICT and e-learning initiatives. He has implemented the first virtual learning environment at the University, by which all the colleges across the city may collaborate for effective teaching and learning. He has designed and implemented University Information Management System. He current research area is IoT based System Design and their security models.

His 25 years of general management experience in semiconductor and electronics industry includes Sales, business development, design and research in which he has led multilocational and cross cultural teams across various countries. During last several years, he has played leading role in Policy formulations, standardisation, ecosystem development and market research initiatives in Indian ESDM sector.

Pradeep Gupta is the Chairman of the CyberMedia Group, South Asia's first and largest specialty media house, with brands like Dataquest, PCQuest, Voice&Data, DARE, CIOL, Global Services, etc. CyberMedia is a public company. CyberMedia is executing India’s first Electropreneur Park, an incubation centre for Electronics start-ups funded by the Government of India.

Pradeep is also an Angel investor and has mentored over 100 start-ups. He is the co-founder of Indian Angel Network, Asia’s largest angel network with more than 300 members that has done over 70 deals. Currently IAN invests in 20-25 deals each year. Some successful exits of IAN include Druvaa Software, StayZilla etc.

He is also on the Board of UTI AMC and its subsidiary UTI Capital. UTI AMC is India’s 5^th largest AMC with $20 Bn of AUM. UTI Capital runs the $ 80 mn India Infrastructure Development Fund (IIDF). Pradeep is also the Chair of the IIT Alumni Trust, the sponsors of IvyCap Ventures Trust Fund-I, a $40 mn fund that invests in medium scale businesses.

Pradeep is a global trustee of TiE, the world’s largest entrepreneurial ecosystem with 12,000 members, including over 2,500 charter members in 60 chapters across 17 countries. Pradeep was the GP of India’s first angel fund Infinity Ventures 15 years ago which had angel investments in companies like India Bulls and India Games, both of which were highly successful exits.

He is on the Board of the IIT Delhi and IIM Kolkata incubators. He has been the past President of PanIIT India and Association of Indian Magazines. He is/has been on the Boards of IIT Mandi, Indian Newspaper Society, etc. He is the recipient of the Distinguished Alumni award of IIT Delhi and the Helen Keller award for working in the disability sector.

Pradeep is an Engineer from IIT Delhi (1975) and an MBA from IIM Calcutta (1977).
